what's in there?

Let's see, it's been a while since I last posted.  Here's some updated pics of the kids:

it had to happen sooner or later - but the cold bug finally tackled us...ALL OF US  

let's see...matthew was the first to get sick.  most likely he contracted it from his cousin in atlanta who recently flew up for their dol.  he was already sick coming in, and left in worse shape.  matthew currently has a persistent runny nose, a hacking cough, a mild fever and an ear infection.  Currently under antibiotics and tylenol/motrin drops.

duksim currently has the worst of it, not only does she have a runny nose, but she lost her voice and has a persistent cough that's keeping her up and night.  A visit to the clinic at cvs determined that all of this is stemming from a nasty post-nasal drip into her throat.  Hopefully the antibiotics they prescribed helps - she's been suffering for more than a week now...

jacob was next in the line of fire.  currently he is pretty weak, has a runny nose, a mild fever, a nasty cough at times and also has an ear infection.  same treatments are being administered to him as to his brother.  as a side note, it's amazing how much getting sick takes away from a kid's livelihood - all they want to do these days is get carried around and sleep.  that's not too bad, i suppose, but when the parents are also under the weather, it gets pretty tiring.

currently i am the last of the immediate family to get sick, which is amazing - i actually thought i somehow dodged the bullet, until now anyway...no such luck there.  so far, i have congestion in my sinuses, general feeling of weakness and a minor cough/throat irritation.  here's to hoping that it doesn't get any worse, but knowing me, it may be wishful thinking.  we'll see...
